Established in 2016,
Taiwan Now is the first club dedicated to Taiwanese current affairs.
Taiwan Now members will join with like-minded individuals who are interested in Taiwan or Taiwan-related topics. We will explore different aspects of Taiwanese culture, issues and current affairs together.

Do you have a creative bent? Join our creative team!
Content Producers will create content as they like such as posters, artwork, videos, interviews, or interesting stories, that will enable them to express themselves and their thoughts on Taiwanese issues and culture. These creations will be showcased on our Facebook wall!

We aim to promote awareness of Taiwan and related topics to the school community at the University of Toronto.
Taiwan is a player in global states of affairs and plays a key role in the regional security of East Asia. We wish to educate the community by presenting information and facts regarding Taiwan, and Taiwanese issues.
We will host activities such as cultural events, conferences, and assemble research groups to Taiwan, creating opportunities to learn and discover.
We will examine the current affairs of and issues related to Taiwan, including its international status, its role within regional and global geopolitics, and its domestic political, social and economic phenomena.
We wish to connect with students with an interest in Taiwan, who wish to get more involved in Taiwanese affairs. We will also aid those who wish to start their own Taiwan-related project.
